Galloway Company is seeking a dynamic IT Business Systems Analyst to serve as the frontline support for ERP and business application systems. This pivotal role acts as the bridge between business process owners and technical IT teams, ensuring seamless daily operations while driving strategic improvements across the organization.
ERP & Application Support
- Serve as the primary responder for ERP-related issues, troubleshooting daily operational challenges and escalating as needed
- Support ERP configuration, enhancements, and integration with custom applications layered on top of the ERP
- Assist in troubleshooting ERP customizations, including reviewing Gembase/DML code to help identify root causes of issues
- Provide training and guidance to end users on ERP functionality, reporting tools, and best practices
Reporting & Analytics
- Understand ERP database structures and support data needs for reporting and analytics
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Power BI and SSRS
- Support analytics platforms and contribute to analytics initiatives
Business Process & Documentation
- Partner with business users to document requirements, define functional specifications, and develop testing scenarios
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and document current and future state processes
- Document system functionality and enhancement requests
Collaboration & Project Coordination
- Collaborate with contract IT developers and internal team members to deliver system modifications and enhancements
- Coordinate small to medium sized IT projects
- Interface with current software vendors to resolve issues
Security & Compliance
- Support adherence to cybersecurity policies within systems and user behaviors
- Actively support the company’s food safety management system and employee safety initiatives
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience supporting ERP systems (Ross ERP preferred, other ERP systems considered).
- Strong SQL skills with ability to query and interpret ERP data.
- Experience with analytics and reporting tools, specifically Power BI and SSRS.
- Background in troubleshooting and working with ERP customizations; familiarity with Gembase or another Database Manipulation Language preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing or business processes, with ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and process analysis.
- Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and presentation).
- Highly collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset.
