Galloway Company is dedicated to excellence, innovation, and creating a positive impact. We are recruiting for a skilled Material Coordinator to join our Supply Chain/Production Scheduling Team.
As theMaterial Coordinator, you will:
- Order and plan ingredients and materials to meet production requirements.
- Perform releases of various materials from blanket purchase requirements.
- Expedite purchase orders while maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.
- Coordinate warehouse transfers to align with demand.
- Coordinate the ordering of milk and cream to meet production demand and tank capacity.
- Manage Fairtrade program.
- Support ERP system design and testing.
- Serve as backup for sweetened customer service/scheduling position.
- Support the inventory management team with key functions.
- Efficiently coordinate and manage responsibilities in support of the company’s objectives.
- Support food safety management system and employee safety initiatives.
- Flexibility in hours – some after hours, weekend, and/or holiday work will be required.
Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills, Education, Training:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in a Material Coordinator role.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a highly regulated industry.
- Highly developed organizational skills and ability to monitor and coordinate activities under your direction.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications (Word and Excel).
- Experience working in ERP systems with exposure to WMS and/or data collection systems.
